TRAJAN'S MARKET 1998 In October 1999 I completed a four week residency at the British School in Rome. The lower two thirds of this work were painted on site and the picture was extended in the studio on my return. I was able to research the exact location in the BSR library and photocopies of the location and research reference are attached to the backboard of the work. |
