Om Elephant Temple No 1
2018

The Lord Ganesha balances on the trunk of a "comic" elephant . It is a reversal....He is real and the" world " is a comic collage. Ganesha is the "Remover of Obstacles"and he holds the symbols of his power in each of his hands. The bonbons (he has a sweet tooth), represent the sweetness of his soul. He wrote the Mahabharata with his broken tusk. The use of comic collage, references my work in the 70's and 80s (see Archive.)
